District Honor Band try-outs were today. I'm glad they are over....they've been hovering over me all week, but now they are over and gone.

Since I was the first one to go, and we were going to be there for about 5 hours...I hooked up with Sandra and Lana and we went and got some food and then played hacky-sack with some hot dudes. One of the dudes, I swear reminded me of the dude from Fall Out Boy. You know the one with the really big side burns? Him, yeah. And his pants were tight, like woah. Lmfao.

Martin went up and asked him if he had a penis...he was like. "Yes, I have one." It was funny, but kind of rude. Heh Heh.

Stacey got me cds! Now I'm going to get hers and we will all be happy little Conor Obsessees. (sp?)

School is beginning to get on my nerves. I don't know why...it just is. Maybe it's because I have too much to do when I go, or too much to do when I get home from school. Either way, it still gets on my nerves.

I'm in a fabulous mood right now. I think it might've been the fact that I just listened to "Lifted Or The Story's In The Soil So Keep Your Ear To The Ground." for the first time. I love it. It is fantastic! This is my third listening go-round. I thank Samantha for nagging me to do it...she was so happy that I was finally getting to listen to it that she made a post on her xanga about it. Heh Heh. <333

My Christmas list is going to be long. I want to get the rest of the Bright Eyes cds...and get the originals for the burnt ones I have. Which is still about 7 or 8 cds. I want a Bright Eyes shirt. Samantha has a pretty brown one...I wonder if I could find one somewhere. Of course I can..I just have to tell my parents where.

Bright Eyes = my new fucking obsession. I don't really want to over-do this obsession, or it will turn out the way that my obsession with AFI has become. I haven't really listened to an AFI cd in almost a year. It's crazy. So I have to monitor how much of Bright Eyes I listen to. I'm weird. Heh Heh.

I have a large list of other cds, dvds, books, and other random things like band merchandise.

I'm sleepy...and I want a new music library. (that = randomness for this evening.)

We just got back from our vacation in the mountains. It was alot of fun..but I was just ready to come home. I have so much schoolwork to do and I knew that going to the mountains was going to make me put it off...and guess what? It's Saturday and I have an AP US History Outline and a whole effing chapter of Geometry to do before Monday! Oh, and let's not forget I have to practice my scales for band. Auditions are next week, and I haven't played my clarinet in a week. I'm going to suck. I just hope they let me stay in Symphonic Band and play bass clarinet. That would make me happy.

Next Friday = 2nd half of root canal. Yuck. The first half hurt for days! The temporary filling felt wierd and I couldn't eat anything without looking like a wierdo. I had to stay dosed up on Hydrocodone. I hate taking pills.

I need about a billion dollars to just go buy cds. There are so many that I want. I want Horrorpops, Nekromantix, Tilly And The Wall,  Kasabian, Franz Ferninand, More of The Clash, More Mars Volta, Interpol, Placebo, Billy Corgan, At The Drive- In, more Tiger Army....I could go on forever! I have no money though. I'm broke. =(
